Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. AutoCAD Mechanical Draftsman to join our Production Design team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and supporting the engineering team in design modifications as per production and project requirements. Freshers with good AutoCAD knowledge can also apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Create fabrication, assembly, and production drawings as per manufacturing requirements.
- Revise and update existing drawings based on production changes.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, and Project teams for drawing requirements.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation properly.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and shop-floor requirements.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) wherever required.
- Assist senior engineers in production design and execution tasks.
- Support continuous improvement in drawing accuracy and manufacturing efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D (mandatory).
- Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and dimensions.
- Knowledge of fabrication / production drawings preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks / Inventor / CATIA will be an added advantage.
- Freshers with AutoCAD certification can apply.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
