Job Title: Restaurant Captain
Reports To: Restaurant Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented Restaurant Captain to oversee the daily operations of the restaurant floor, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and support the Restaurant Manager in maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, operational knowledge, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the restaurant service team during shifts.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and personalized service.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and allocate duties to team members.
- Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with SOPs and hygiene standards.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely food and beverage service.
- Assist in staff training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
- Maintain cleanliness, table setup, and overall restaurant presentation.
- Monitor stock levels of operating supplies and report shortages.
- Ensure billing accuracy and smooth shift closing procedures.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality (preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in restaurant operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and guest relationship skills.
- Sound knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
