Job Description:
Ankit India is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Designer with 2–3 years of experience in a Garment Export House. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in product development, sampling, fabric sourcing, and coordination with merchandising and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop styles as per buyer requirements and market trends.
Create CADs, design sketches, mood boards, and tech packs.
Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams.
Source fabrics, trims, and accessories.
Follow up on proto, fit, and production samples.
Ensure product quality and timely sample development.
Research international fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and silhouettes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's/Diploma in Fashion Design or Textile Design.
2–3 years of experience in a Garment Export House.
Knowledge of women's western wear and garment construction.
Good understanding of fabrics, trims, prints, embroidery, and washes.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and MS Office.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred:
Experience working with US/European buyers.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
