Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Site Engineer with a strong background in steel structures and fabrication works. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site execution, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of projects, while also acting in a supervisory role to manage the workforce and coordinate activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily site activities related to steel fabrication and erection works
- Interpret engineering drawings and ensure accurate implementation on site
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors for smooth execution
- Monitor fabrication, welding, and installation processes for quality compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies at all times
- Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly
- Maintain daily progress reports and documentation
- Ensure project timelines are met without compromising quality
- Train and guide workers, welders, and technicians on best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 3–7 years of experience in steel fabrication, structural works, or related field
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding processes, and erection procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Good leadership and team management skills
