Key Responsibilities Financial & Core Accounting: Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely closing of books, ledger maintenance, and strict compliance with accounting standards. ERP & System Management: Leverage and optimize advanced ERP workflows (ERPNext/SAP) to streamline data flow across manufacturing, inventory, and sales modules. Internal Controls & Process Engineering: Establish and enforce rigorous processes for stock management, physical-to-system inventory reconciliation, and automated validation gates to flag or eliminate erroneous entries. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Drive budgeting, variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, and product-costing models to optimize manufacturing margins. Team Leadership & System Transitions: Lead, mentor, and upscale the accounts team. Spearhead structural changes and system migrations when transitioning or upgrading accounting and operational modules. Compliance & Audits: Ensure flawless execution of statutory compliances including GST filing, TDS, Income Tax, and facilitate seamless statutory and internal audits.
Job Requirements Must-Have Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree. Experience: 3–4 years of core accounting experience strictly within a manufacturing organization, demonstrating a solid understanding of shop-floor dynamics, bill of materials (BOM), and inventory valuation. Technical Skills: Deep, hands-on experience working with modern, new-age ERP systems (e.g., ERPNext, SAP, or equivalent). Fundamentals: Rock-solid grasp of accounting fundamentals, double-entry bookkeeping, and manufacturing cost accounting. Desired / Preferred Qualifications: Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is highly preferred. Change Management: Proven experience leading a team through an accounting software migration or system transition. Internal Audit Exposure: Track record of designing risk-mitigation frameworks for stock control, production-entry audits, and proactive error detection. Strategic Outlook: Prior experience in FP&A, management reporting, and presenting financial insights to executive leadership.
