Gold Coins Club & Resort, a 25-year-old heritage property spread across a 10-acre estate, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Housekeeping & Landscape Manager to oversee the entire property’s cleanliness, upkeep, and garden maintenance. This role is critical to maintaining the resort’s visual appeal, hygiene standards, and guest experience across rooms, public areas, and outdoor spaces.
Position Title: Housekeeping & Landscape Manager
Department: Housekeeping / Facility / Horticulture
Location: Gold Coins Club & Resort, Electronic City, Bengaluru
Accommodation: Optional sharing accommodation in a semi-furnished apartment owned by the Managing Director, within 100 meters from the resort
Meals: Food provided on all working days at the resort
Position Objective
To ensure the entire property (rooms, public areas, activity zones, and gardens) is maintained to high cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic standards, creating a premium and well-maintained environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Housekeeping Operations
- Oversee cleaning of rooms, cottages, banquet areas, washrooms, and public spaces.
- Ensure all areas meet high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Manage room readiness and turnaround times.
- Conduct daily inspections and maintain quality checklists.
- Landscape & Garden Management.
- Supervise maintenance of lawns, gardens, plants, and outdoor areas.
- Ensure regular watering, pruning, trimming, and seasonal plantation.
- Maintain aesthetic appeal of the property’s outdoor spaces.
- Monitor irrigation systems and garden equipment.
- Team Management
- Lead and manage housekeeping staff and gardeners.
- Allocate daily duties and monitor performance.
- Train staff on cleaning standards, discipline, and grooming.
- Ensure proper workforce planning and productivity.
Inventory & Resource Control
- Manage inventory of cleaning materials, linen, and garden supplies.
- Ensure proper usage and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with store and purchase for replenishment.
Maintenance Coordination
- Identify and report maintenance issues (electrical, plumbing, landscaping).
- Coordinate with maintenance team for timely resolution.
- Ensure all facilities are in working condition.
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain hygiene standards as per hospitality guidelines.
- Ensure safety in use of cleaning chemicals and gardening materials.
- Implement SOPs for housekeeping and landscaping operations.
Guest Experience
- Ensure visually appealing and well-maintained property.
- Handle guest complaints related to cleanliness or surroundings.
- Maintain high standards of presentation across all areas.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management / Facility Management / Horticulture preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in housekeeping operations (resort/hotel preferred).
- Experience in garden/landscape supervision is mandatory.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail and quality control mindset.
- Ability to manage large property operations.
