- Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors for mechanical, machined, and fabricated components.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and carry out cost analysis for procurement decisions.
- Negotiate prices, credit terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Ensure timely procurement of material as per production requirements.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
- Raise purchase orders (POs) and follow up for order delivery.
- Coordinate with production, design, QA, and stores to resolve material issues.
- Ensure materials meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure vendor compliance as per company policies & quality standards.
