Position Overview
"O.W. Legal Associates" is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Assistant to support the firm's litigation, legal research, drafting, client management, and office administration activities. The position offers an excellent opportunity for recent law graduates and aspiring legal professionals to gain practical exposure to legal practice and office management.
Key ResponsibilitiesLitigation Support
- Assist in preparation and filing of pleadings, petitions, affidavits, written statements, and legal notices.
- Maintain and update case files, court records, and litigation documents.
- Track case stages, hearing dates, and court proceedings.
- Coordinate with advocates regarding filings and case requirements.
Legal Research
- Conduct legal research on statutes, judicial precedents, and contemporary legal issues.
- Prepare case briefs, legal summaries, and research notes.
- Assist in analyzing judgments and preparing legal opinions.
- Monitor legal developments, legislative amendments, and regulatory changes.
Drafting Assistance
- Assist in drafting legal notices, agreements, applications, and correspondence.
- Prepare basic legal documentation and formatting of pleadings.
- Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
Client Coordination
- Maintain client records and case-related information.
- Schedule meetings, consultations, and follow-up communications.
- Coordinate document collection and maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Respond professionally to routine client queries under supervision.
Office Administration
- Maintain physical and digital filing systems.
- Manage legal databases and document repositories.
- Prepare reports, maintain registers, and update internal records.
- Assist in day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks.
Technology & Documentation Support
- Manage electronic records and document management systems.
- Assist in maintaining case management software and office dashboards.
- Organize digital archives and legal templates.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and professional correspondence.
Internship & Academic Support
- Coordinate internship activities and assignment tracking.
- Assist in scheduling mentorship sessions and maintaining attendance records.
- Prepare certificates, reports, and communication materials for internship programmes.

Compensation
As per the firm's policy and candidate's qualifications and experience.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
