Regional Manager – Operations
Role Summary
The Regional Manager – Operations will be responsible for the end-to-end operational management of Vanmoh Chit Funds across the Head Office and all branches within the assigned region, along with monitoring branch-level sales and collection performance.
The role will be responsible for subscriber onboarding and documentation, chit group formation and auction administration, branch process standardization, regulatory and registrar compliance, service quality, and operational efficiency. The Regional Manager will work closely with Sales, Accounts, Compliance, HR, and Branch Operations teams to ensure smooth, compliant, and customer-focused chit fund operations across the network.
Key Responsibilities
- Branch Operations Management
- Manage and monitor end-to-end operations of the Head Office and all assigned branches.
- Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, SOPs, service standards, and turnaround times across branches.
- Standardize and enforce processes related to subscriber onboarding, group formation, auctions, collections, and closures.
- Monitor branch-wise operational performance, process adherence, service quality, and productivity.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate new branch setup, infrastructure readiness, staffing requirements, and operational rollout.
- Conduct regular branch visits to review operations, compliance, customer service, and process adherence.
- Chit Group & Subscriber Administration
- Oversee subscriber enrolment, KYC verification, documentation, and onboarding processes.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of subscriber records and supporting documents.
- Monitor timely and accurate conduct of chit group auctions and related operational activities.
- Coordinate prize amount disbursement processing and group closure formalities.
- Ensure proper maintenance of subscriber records, passbooks, registers, and other statutory/operational documents.
- Resolve subscriber-related operational escalations in coordination with Branch Managers and Sales teams.
- Sales & Collection Performance Monitoring
- Monitor branch-wise and consolidated sales performance against assigned targets.
- Track new subscriber enrolment, group formation, collections, and business growth branch-wise.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly sales and collection MIS.
- Identify performance gaps and escalate shortfalls to senior management.
- Work closely with Sales Managers and Branch Managers to develop corrective action plans.
- Ensure operational readiness to support sales campaigns, new group formation, and auction schedules.
- Monitor branch-level collection efficiency and coordinate with relevant teams for improvement.
- Regulatory & Registrar Compliance
- Ensure branch-level operational compliance with the Chit Funds Act, 1982 and applicable state regulations.
- Coordinate with the Registrar of Chits and relevant authorities for operational and statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of registrar filings, statutory deposits, group registration, and closure documentation.
- Maintain audit-ready records across all branches.
- Support internal, statutory, and registrar audits and inspections.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and compliance gaps.
- Coordinate with Compliance and Legal teams to implement regulatory changes across branches.
- Process, Systems & Vendor Management
- Drive effective implementation and usage of CRM, ERP, and other operational systems across branches.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting by branch teams.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement measures to improve productivity, accuracy, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.
- Manage operational vendors including printing, courier, documentation, and related service providers.
- Ensure proper document security, record management, cash handling, and operational controls.
- Develop and maintain business continuity and operational risk management practices.
- Cross-Functional Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Accounts regarding collections, disbursements, reconciliations, and operational transactions.
- Coordinate with Sales teams regarding subscriber enrolment, group formation, documentation, and customer servicing.
- Work closely with Compliance and Legal teams on regulatory and operational matters.
- Coordinate with HR for manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of branch operations staff.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational MIS and branch performance reports to management.
- Highlight operational risks, service gaps, compliance issues, and critical branch-level concerns to management.
- People Management & Training
- Supervise, guide, and monitor branch operations teams across the assigned region.
- Ensure branch staff follow company SOPs, operational controls, and documentation standards.
- Conduct regular training and knowledge-sharing sessions for branch operations employees.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate training and development programs.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of branch operations personnel in coordination with HR.
- Monitor employee productivity, discipline, attendance, and performance in coordination with Branch Managers and HR.

Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- MBA/Postgraduate qualification in Operations, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in operations, preferably in Chit Funds, NBFCs, BFSI, financial services, or similar regulated organizations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a multi-branch operations/leadership role is preferred.
- Experience in managing branch operations and coordinating with multiple functional teams.
- Working knowledge of the Chit Funds Act, 1982 and applicable state regulations will be preferred.
- Experience in handling Registrar of Chits, audits, statutory documentation, and compliance will be an added advantage.

Reporting
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
