About the Role
We are looking for Cloud Engineers to join our growing Cloud & Infrastructure team. The role involves managing AWS cloud environments, deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, implementing security best practices, and supporting reliable and scalable cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Work with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, WAF, IAM, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, and other standard AWS services.
- Deploy and manage applications and workloads across AWS environments.
- Configure and maintain networking components such as VPCs, subnets, security groups, route tables, NAT gateways, and load balancers.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, logs, and resource utilization using CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, networking, deployment, and application-related issues.
- Implement cloud security best practices including IAM policies, least-privilege access, security groups, encryption, and access controls.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Work with development and DevOps teams to support application deployments and cloud infrastructure requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, availability, and basic cost-optimization practices.
- Participate in production support and resolve incidents within defined timelines.
Required Skills
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS Cloud Services.
- Good understanding of EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, WAF, IAM, VPC, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
- Understanding of AWS networking concepts including VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, NACLs, NAT Gateway, and load balancing.
- Basic understanding of Linux administration and command-line operations.
- Knowledge of Git and source code management.
- Basic scripting knowledge using Shell/Bash or Python.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, access management, and AWS best practices.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of fundamental DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, and networking concepts.
- Ability to work with development and infrastructure teams in a collaborative environment.
Good to Have
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or similar.
- Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management tools.
- Exposure to Azure or GCP.
- Understanding of AWS cost optimization and resource management.
- Exposure to production cloud environments and incident management.
Experience
- Cloud Engineer / Junior Cloud Engineer: 0 – 2+ Years
Freshers with strong AWS fundamentals, relevant hands-on projects, internships, or AWS certifications may also be considered.
