Business Development Manager (BDM)
Job Summary
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. The role involves generating leads, managing the sales pipeline, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and market research.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product/service demonstrations.
- Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to close deals successfully.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate sales records and update CRM systems regularly.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
- 3–8 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Age 25 to 40
