A Travel Consultant is responsible for assisting clients in planning, organizing, and booking domestic and international travel experiences. The role involves understanding customer requirements, suggesting suitable travel options, and ensuring smooth end-to-end travel arrangements with excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding client travel requirements and preferences
- Designing customized holiday and business travel packages
- Booking flights, hotels, visas, transport, cruises, and travel insurance
- Providing destination guidance, itinerary planning, and travel advice
- Coordinating with airlines, hotels, DMCs, and travel partners
- Handling travel queries, modifications, cancellations, and emergencies
- Preparing quotations, invoices, and travel documents
- Maintaining strong client relationships for repeat business and referrals
- Achieving sales targets and promoting travel packages
- Staying updated with travel trends, visa rules, and destination knowledge
