QA/QC Manager – Renewables Construction
At ENGIE, we are building a carbon-neutral future through renewable energy projects that power communities worldwide. Our construction teams bring these projects to life, and quality is at the heart of everything we deliver.
We are looking for a QA/QC Manager to lead our quality management efforts across renewable energy construction sites. You will ensure that every piece of equipment, every process, and every deliverable meets the highest standards — from supplier factories to final handover.
What You'll Do
- Set up and manage the Integrated Quality Management System across renewable energy construction projects in line with ENGIE Group guidelines.
- Develop standardised QA/QC plans, procedures, and checklists, and customise them for each project.
- Coordinate and conduct factory inspections of purchased equipment and materials, raising deviations and reporting findings to HO-QHSE.
- Evaluate contractors and vendors against quality requirements during the selection process.
- Lead on-site QA/QC management, ensuring all quality protocols, SOPs, and work instructions are strictly implemented.
- Monitor non-conformance reports, lead root cause analyses, and drive timely corrective actions to closure.
- Compile and distribute weekly, monthly, and yearly QA/QC reports and statistics to internal and external stakeholders.
What You Bring
- Engineering degree or diploma with a strong QA/QC background.
- 8 to 10 years of experience managing supplier quality and site QA/QC on construction projects.
- Solid knowledge of Quality Control Plans, inspection and test plans, and quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
- Experience conducting factory acceptance tests and vendor audits.
- Familiarity with renewable energy construction (solar, wind, or battery storage) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and contractors.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
