Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Garment Technician with 7–8 years of experience in Kidswear (Newborn to 8 Years). The candidate should have strong technical knowledge in garment measurements, fitting, pattern correction, and sample evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain garment measurement specifications based on our approved standard measurement charts.
- Review and evaluate Fit Samples, Size Set Samples, PPS, and Production Samples.
- Provide accurate and detailed Fit Sample Comments and Size Set Comments.
- Analyze garment fit, balance, proportions, construction, and workmanship.
- Suggest measurement corrections and pattern modifications to achieve the desired fit.
- Ensure all size gradings follow brand standards.
- Work closely with the Design, Merchandising, Pattern, and Sampling teams.
- Communicate technical comments clearly to factories and suppliers.
- Verify that bulk production follows the approved measurements and fit standards.
- Identify potential fitting and construction issues before bulk production.
Requirements
- 7–8 years of experience as a Garment Technician / Garment Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, measurements, grading, and fitting.
- Experience in handling Knit and Woven Kidswear garments.
- Ability to prepare professional fit comments and size set approvals.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and technical documentation.
Preferred
- Experience working with retail brands or buying houses.
- Exposure to Newborn, Infant, and Kidswear categories will be an added advantage.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
