Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer – Backend Primary with strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will primarily work on backend development while also contributing to frontend development using React.js.
The candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities, experience building scalable applications, and a good understanding of modern software development, testing, CI/CD, security, and cloud deployment practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Design microservices architecture and implement efficient inter-service communication.
- Develop high-performance, optimized SQL queries and work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Design and implement batch-processing solutions using Spring Batch or similar frameworks.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API security following OWASP best practices.
- Work with messaging and asynchronous communication technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
- Develop and maintain frontend components using React.js as required.
- Integrate React applications with backend REST APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Perform unit and integration testing using JUnit and Mockito.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Work with Git-based workflows including branching, merging, and pull requests.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and application deployments across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills
Backend – Primary
- Strong proficiency in Core Java with a solid understanding of:
- OOP principles
- Collections
- Exception handling
- Multithreading and concurrency
- Java fundamentals
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience developing RESTful services and microservices.
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and inter-service communication.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Experience with query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Batch or similar batch-processing frameworks.
- Experience designing, developing, consuming, versioning, and documenting REST APIs.
- Understanding of Java application security, authentication, authorization, and OWASP best practices.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
Frontend – Secondary
- Hands-on experience with React.js.
- Good understanding of React components, hooks, and state management.
- Experience integrating React applications with REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+.
- Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience developing responsive and cross-browser compatible web applications.
Additional Technical Skills
- Build tools: Maven or Gradle.
- Version control: Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
- Testing: JUnit and Mockito.
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Cloud: Basic hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience building highly scalable and distributed applications.
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-native application development is an advantage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
