About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy PR Executive to join our communications team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a positive public image for our brand, managing media relations, and executing impactful PR campaigns. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external media partners to ensure our messaging is consistent, professional, and widely recognized.
Key Responsibilities
- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers across tech, business, and mainstream media.
- Content Creation: Draft high-quality press releases, media advisories, pitch notes, and executive talking points.
- Campaign Execution: Assist in the planning and execution of PR strategies and events to increase brand awareness.
- Media Monitoring: Track industry news, monitor brand mentions, and prepare comprehensive monthly coverage reports.
- Crisis Support: Help manage reactive communications and provide support during sensitive situations to protect the brand's reputation.
- Coordination: Act as a bridge between internal departments and external PR agencies to ensure timely delivery of assets.
Must-Have Skills
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or at a PR Agency.
- Writing Excellence: Exceptional command over the English language with the ability to write compelling stories and press materials.
- Media Network: Proven track record of securing earned media coverage in relevant publications.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for pitching to editors and managing stakeholder meetings.
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency in using media monitoring tools and social media platforms for brand storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or Public Relations.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup or tech-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
