About the Role
We are seeking a talented and technically strong AI Video Editor who blends modern AI-powered video production with solid expertise in industry-standard tools. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Adobe Animate CC, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro — and should be comfortable using AI tools to speed up and enhance the video production workflow. You will work on educational videos, animated explainers, product demos, social media reels, training modules, and promotional content for GBP's growing digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and produce high-quality videos for social media, YouTube, digital campaigns, product explainers, and educational modules.
- Develop animated educational content, character animations, and interactive visual assets using Adobe Animate CC.
- Design and execute motion graphics, visual effects, kinetic typography, and animated transitions using Adobe After Effects.
- Edit raw footage with precision — including cuts, colour correction, audio sync, captions, lower thirds, and branded transitions — using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Use AI video tools to enhance production speed, generate visuals, create AI voiceovers, and produce AI-assisted animations.
- Build reusable motion templates, branded intros, outros, and visual elements for consistent use across video formats.
- Produce short-form reels and social media video content optimised for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
- Collaborate with the academic, content, and marketing teams to interpret briefs and scripts and deliver video output accordingly.
- Ensure all videos meet GBP's quality standards and are optimised for the appropriate platform and audience.
- Stay updated on the latest AI video tools, plugins, and production techniques to improve output quality and efficiency continuously.
Must-Have Tools & Skills
Adobe Animate CC
- Frame-by-frame animation and timeline-based character animation
- Symbol creation, tweening (motion and shape tween), and rigging
- Interactive HTML5 canvas animations for digital/e-learning content
- ActionScript / JavaScript integration for interactive educational modules
- Exporting animations for web, video, and e-learning formats (SCORM, HTML5, MP4)
Adobe After Effects
- Motion graphics design and kinetic typography
- Visual effects compositing and green screen/chroma keying
- Expression-based animation and keyframe control
- Plugin usage — Element 3D, Trapcode Suite, Video Copilot tools
- Creating and exporting dynamic animated templates (.MOGRT) for Premiere Pro
- Camera tracking, masking, rotoscoping, and layer-based compositing
Adobe Premiere Pro
- Professional non-linear video editing and multi-track timeline management
- Colour grading and correction using Lumetri Colour
- Audio mixing, noise reduction, and audio sync
- Captions, subtitles, and dynamic text integration
- Multicam editing and sequence nesting
- Integration with After Effects via Dynamic Link for seamless workflow
- Export and delivery settings for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and broadcast
AI Video Tools (Basic to Intermediate)
- AI video generation — InVideo AI, Canva Video AI, Pictory, or similar
- AI voiceover and text-to-speech tools — ElevenLabs, Murf AI, or similar
- AI script-to-video tools for quick content turnaround
- AI background removal, upscaling, and video enhancement tools
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, or AI video production.
- Mandatory hands-on proficiency in Adobe Animate CC, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro — these are non-negotiable requirements.
- Working knowledge of at least one or more AI video tools for production assistance.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, colour, and audio-video synchronisation.
- Ability to handle multiple video projects simultaneously and deliver within deadlines.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating motion graphics, animation, and edited video work is required.
- Experience in educational content, e-learning, or publishing is a strong plus.
Preferred Attributes
- Prior experience creating animated educational videos or e-learning modules.
- Familiarity with SCORM or LMS-compatible content output.
- Good communication and the ability to work collaboratively with academic and content teams.
- Creative curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and adopt new tools.
