Job Summary
The Shift Incharge – Production is responsible for supervising and coordinating production activities during assigned shifts to ensure targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved. The role ensures smooth shift operations, manpower management, and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities1. Shift Operations Management
- Supervise and monitor all production activities during the shift.
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved.
- Allocate manpower and manage shift scheduling.
- Ensure smooth handover between shifts.
2. Team Supervision
- Lead operators, technicians, and helpers.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance.
- Resolve shop-floor issues promptly.
3. Quality Control
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections.
- Minimize rejection, rework, and wastage.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE usage.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
5. Machine & Process Monitoring
- Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns.
- Coordinate with maintenance team for quick resolution.
- Maintain production logs and shift reports.
6. Reporting
- Prepare shift production reports.
- Record downtime, output, rejection, and manpower data.
- Update management on daily performance.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing operations.
- Experience in handling shop-floor teams.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
