Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer (Draftsman / AutoCAD Engineer) to prepare accurate technical drawings and detailed layouts for industrial and construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AutoCAD drafting, interpreting engineering drawings, and coordinating with project teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
* Develop fabrication, structural, civil, or mechanical drawings as per project requirements.
* Revise and update drawings based on engineering changes.
* Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and technical documents.
* Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and site personnel for drawing clarifications.
* Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
* Ensure drawings comply with company standards and applicable codes.
* Assist in quantity estimation and preparation of BOQs, if required.
Requirements
* Diploma/ITI/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, or a related discipline.
* 2–5 years of experience as a Draftsman/AutoCAD Engineer.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of 3D software such as AutoCAD 3D, SolidWorks, or Revit will be an added advantage.
* Good understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
