About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics, with the ability to transform raw footage into engaging content for digital platforms. You will work closely with the marketing, content, and creative teams to produce high-quality videos that align with our brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, websites, marketing campaigns, and internal communications.
- Trim, sequence, and assemble raw footage into compelling visual stories.
- Add music, sound effects, transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, and visual effects where required.
- Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and final quality checks before publishing.
- Create platform-specific content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other digital channels.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketers to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
- Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.
- Organize and maintain video files, project assets, and editing workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and social media content formats.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Video Editing, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Film Production, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and visual effects is an advantage.
- Understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and export settings.
- Strong creative thinking, attention to detail, and storytelling skills.
- Good communication, collaboration, and time management abilities.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous editing work is required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Knowledge of color grading and audio editing.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video editing tools.
- Understanding of social media algorithms and content optimization.
