About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Food & Beverage Controller to manage and strengthen cost control, inventory monitoring, and financial controls across our restaurant operations. The role will be based at our Corporate Office in Hyderabad and will work closely with Operations, Kitchen, Purchase, Stores, and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control Food & Beverage costs across restaurant operations.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory verification.
- Analyze food cost, consumption patterns, wastage, and variances.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Ensure proper stock receiving, issuing, transfers, and documentation.
- Verify Purchase Orders, GRNs, invoices, and supplier-related documentation.
- Identify discrepancies, pilferage, excessive wastage, and control gaps.
- Monitor recipe costing, menu costing, portion control, and standard food costs.
- Coordinate with Chefs and Operations teams to maintain cost efficiency.
- Conduct surprise stock and inventory audits across outlets.
- Prepare MIS reports related to food cost, beverage cost, inventory, and variances.
- Analyze outlet-wise profitability and highlight areas requiring corrective action.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs and internal control procedures.
- Work closely with the Finance and Accounts teams for reconciliation and reporting.
Candidate Profile
- Maximum 5 years of relevant experience in F&B Cost Control, Food Costing, Inventory Control, or similar roles.
- Preference for candidates from Restaurant Chains, Multi-Outlet Restaurants, Hospitality, or Food Service Operations.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Food Costing
- Inventory Management
- Stock Audits
- Recipe & Menu Costing
- Purchase & GRN Processes
- Variance Analysis
- Wastage Control
- Good proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.
- Experience with POS, ERP, or inventory management systems will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.
Compensation
Salary: Up to ₹6 LPA, based on experience, skills, and interview performance.
Location
Base Location: Corporate Office, Hyderabad
Preferred: Candidates with experience in high-volume, multi-unit restaurant operations will be given preference.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
