1. Role Purpose
To own and run BFPL's entire MIS function as a hands-on builder — designing, automating, and maintaining all departmental reporting and dashboards. The role exists to make BFPL data-driven at scale: accurate numbers, on time, with minimal manual effort.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. MIS Automation (Build & Run)
- Build and automate all departmental MIS — Credit, Operations, Collections, Accounts, HR, Audit/Compliance, Branch Ops
- Replace manual / Excel-based reports with automated pipelines and scheduled dashboards
- Maintain a single source of truth — eliminate report mismatches across departments
- Ensure daily / weekly / monthly reports run reliably without manual intervention
B. Dashboards & Reporting
- Design MD-level and department-head dashboards across all key business and operational metrics
- Build self-serve dashboards so department heads pull their own numbers — reducing dependency on MIS
- Standardise report formats, definitions, and frequency across all departments
C. AI-Assisted Automation (Tool, not process-owner)
- Use AI tools to enhance reporting — anomaly detection, automated report commentary, query-based reporting
- Recommend automation opportunities to department heads
D. Data Governance & Integrity
- Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and reconciliation against source systems (LMS / core)
- Ensure all reports and automations are auditable with clear data lineage

4. Domain & Functional Knowledge

5. Experience & Qualification

Qualification
Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Statistics, Data, Commerce, or related
Industry
NBFC / Bank / Fintech / Gold loan strongly preferred
