Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and resilient Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to drive warehouse network expansion across Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be between 30-35 years of age, bringing maturity, professional experience and the hunger to grow. This role is perfectly suited for individuals from Insurance sales or Pharmaceutical / Medical Representative backgrounds who understand persistence, field hustle and relationship-based selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect and onboard new warehouse clients and partners in line with the quarterly warehouse addition plan.
- Build and consistently maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects through cold calls, field visits, referrals and networking.
- Conduct site visits, capability presentations and commercial negotiations with prospective warehouse partners across Bangalore.
- Meet or exceed quarterly targets for warehouse additions as defined by the business quarterly plan.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, pipeline stages and deal closures in the CRM.
- Collaborate with the operations and onboarding team to ensure a seamless transition for newly signed warehouse partners.
- Provide structured market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing trends and demand patterns on a monthly basis.
- Represent the company at trade events, industry meets and local business networks in and around Bangalore.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Age between 30 and 35 years (as on date of joining).
- 4-7 years of experience in field sales, business development or account acquisition roles.
- Prior experience in Insurance Sales or Pharmaceutical / Medical Representative roles strongly preferred and given priority.
- Demonstrated track record of handling high-rejection environments and converting cold prospects to signed clients.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills in Kannada, Hindi and English.
- Comfort with field-intensive roles — willingness to travel across Bangalore and surrounding areas daily.
- Basic proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA or postgraduate qualification in Sales or Marketing is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
