Position description: Join Jindal Stainless Limited as a key member of our Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) team, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our stainless steel production facilities. This position demands a seasoned engineering professional with a strong background in the mining and metals industry, capable of overseeing complex maintenance projects, optimizing equipment performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement preventive maintenance strategies, troubleshoot technical issues, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards in a dynamic industrial environment.
Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and manage maintenance and repair activities for critical stainless steel production equipment to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs tailored to the specific needs of mining and metals manufacturing processes.

Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of spare parts and maintenance materials, optimizing MRO inventory levels.

Analyze equipment performance data to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions to enhance reliability and lifespan.

Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the MRO department.

Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.

Prepare detailed maintenance reports, budgets, and project documentation to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.

Drive initiatives for energy efficiency and cost reduction through innovative maintenance practices and technology adoption.

Manage vendor relationships and oversee outsourced maintenance contracts to ensure service quality and adherence to timelines.
