Team Leader-Accounts (Automobile Industry work experience preferred)
The Team Leader – Accounts will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the dealership, ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and supervise the accounts team. The role demands strong analytical skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to maintain healthy cash flow and financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision: Lead, guide, and manage the accounts team to ensure smooth functioning of daily operations.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconciliation: Ensure timely bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and debtor/creditor account reconciliation.
- Invoicing & Billing: Monitor and verify customer invoices, warranty claims, and supplier bills.
- Cash Flow Management: Track daily cash flow, collections, and disbursements to maintain adequate liquidity
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS and other statutory returns.
- MIS Reporting: Prepare and present monthly MIS reports, profit & loss statements, and other financial analysis to management.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit cycles.
- Cost Control: Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving measures to improve profitability.
- Process Improvement: Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce financial discrepancies.
