Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ATE Lab Equipment Lead Engineer to manage and maintain semiconductor test equipment, including ATE testers and probers. The role involves ensuring high equipment uptime, supporting production/testing activities, and driving continuous improvement in test operations.
Experience & Education

8+ years in semiconductor equipment / ATE lab environment

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering

Experience in high-volume production test environments preferred
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead maintenance and troubleshooting of ATE testers and wafer probers
-
Ensure high uptime and reliability of lab/test floor equipment
-
Perform preventive & corrective maintenance of ATE lab equipment

Support silicon bring-up, validation, and production test activities
-
Diagnose failures and drive root cause analysis (RCA)
-
Coordinate with Test, Product, and Manufacturing teams for issue resolution
-
Manage equipment calibration, spares, and vendor interactions
-
Improve test efficiency, yield, and turnaround time
-
Maintain documentation for equipment logs, procedures, and compliance
Required Skills
-
Strong hands-on experience in ATE testers (Advantest / Teradyne or similar)

Experience in wafer probers and test lab equipment
-
Good understanding of semiconductor test flow (WT / FT)

Expertise in equipment debugging and failure analysis

Familiarity with lab instruments:
-
Oscilloscope
-
Power supplies
-
DMM, thermal systems, etc. (aligned with ATE setups)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
