PGT Chemistry – Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry for Classes XI & XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Deliver engaging lessons covering Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry with a focus on conceptual understanding and problem-solving.
- Conduct practical sessions and ensure adherence to laboratory safety and CBSE guidelines.
- Evaluate student performance through tests and assessments, and provide academic mentoring.
- Collaborate with the HOD and Academic Coordinators for curriculum planning, syllabus completion, and academic reviews.
- Prepare students for Board examinations, competitive exams, Olympiads, and science-related activities.
- Maintain student records, classroom discipline, and actively participate in faculty development programmes and school activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry; B.Ed. preferred.
- Experience: 3–7 years of teaching PGT Chemistry in CBSE schools. Experience in IIT-JEE/NEET coaching is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge with excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry.
- Familiarity with CBSE, IIT-JEE, NEET, and CUET curricula.
- Excellent analytical, mentoring, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and innovative teaching methodologies.
