IRA Corporation is one of India's leading manufacturers of Gold & Silver Refining Plants, Hallmarking Laboratory Equipment, Fire Assaying Laboratories, and Precious Metal Processing Machinery. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our engineering team.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and general arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Develop manufacturing drawings for sheet metal, tanks, reactors, piping, structures, and industrial machinery.
- Modify and update existing drawings as per engineering and production requirements.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) from engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with the design, production, and installation teams.
- Maintain proper drawing documentation and revision records.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and technical specifications.
- Visit the production floor when required to verify dimensions and support fabrication.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting.
- 1–5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting (Freshers with strong AutoCAD skills may also apply).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, SolidWorks, or Inventor is an added advantage).
- Good understanding of mechanical drawings, fabrication, welding, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, and engineering standards is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial machinery or process equipment design.
- Knowledge of stainless steel fabrication, piping layouts, and pressure vessels.
- Basic understanding of electrical and process layouts is an advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,718.66 per month
