- Job Summary:
The Procurement Support Analyst is responsible for supporting procurement operations by analysing purchasing data, coordinating with vendors, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and driving efficiency in sourcing processes. This role plays a key part in enabling strategic procurement decisions through data insights and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations Support
o
Assist in the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, purchase order (PO) creation, and invoice tracking.
o
Monitor procurement activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Data Analysis & Reporting
o
Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and inefficiencies.
o
Prepare and maintain reports on spend analysis, supplier performance, and procurement KPIs.
o
Support leadership with dashboards and insights for decision-making.
Compliance & Documentation
o
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
o
Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and audit documentation.
o
Support internal and external audits.
Process Improvement
o
Identify opportunities to streamline procurement workflows and improve efficiency.
o
Support implementation of procurement systems or tools (e.g., ERP, eProcurement platforms).
Stakeholder Support
o
Collaborate with finance, operations, and other departments to support procurement needs.
o
Provide guidance on procurement policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain support.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and data analysis tools.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba) is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
