Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare electrical schematics, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, SLDs, and control circuit diagrams.
- Design MCC, PCC, APFC, VFD, ATS, AMF, Synchronization panels based on project requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with IEC, IS, IEEE standards and company design guidelines.
- Perform load calculations and determine feeder sizing, cable sizing, breaker ratings, and protection requirements.
- Select suitable electrical components such as MCCBs, MCBs, ACBs, contactors, relays, meters, VFDs, SMPS, PLC components etc.
- Prepare detailed BOM (Bill of Materials) for each project.
- Review project specifications, datasheets, and client BOQ.
- Conduct technical discussions with clients to understand functional requirements and constraints.
- Provide technical clarifications to clients and internal teams.
- Coordinate with Production team to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing.
- Support the Project/Installation team with drawings, design changes, and site queries.
- Create and update drawings using AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Maintain version-controlled drawing records and technical documentation.
- Prepare as-built drawings, test reports, and design reports.
We are looking for:
- B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (considered for junior positions)
- Certification in AutoCAD Electrical / SolidWorks Electrical is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of electrical panel design (MCC, PCC, APFC, VFD, PLC panels).
- Experience in preparing SLDs, wiring diagrams, GA drawings.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD.
