6. Planning, scheduling, managing subcontractors, cost control, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing client expectations
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Planning & Scheduling: Creating project plans, setting milestones, and developing schedules to meet deadlines.
- Cost Management: Preparing budgets, tracking costs, and managing project finances.
- Site Management: Supervising workers, subcontractors, and overseeing daily on-site operations.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforcing safety regulations, obtaining permits, and ensuring compliance with building codes.
- Quality Control: Inspecting work to ensure it meets technical specifications and quality standards.
- Communication: Acting as the main point of contact for stakeholders, including clients and contractors.
