Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and successfully delivering welding table manufacturing projects within the agreed scope, timeline, quality, and budget. The role involves coordinating with design, production, procurement, quality, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning
* Prepare project schedules based on customer orders.
* Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
* Allocate manpower, machinery, and other resources.
* Develop project timelines and monitor progress.
Project Execution
* Coordinate with engineering team
* Ensure procurement of raw materials and bought-out items.
* Monitor fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, painting, and inspection activities.
* Track daily production against the project schedule.
* Resolve production bottlenecks.
Cross-functional Coordination
* Work closely with:
* Sales
* Design Engineering
* Production
* Procurement
* Quality Assurance
* Logistics
* Ensure smooth information flow among departments.
Quality & Compliance
* Ensure products meet customer specifications.
* Ensure compliance with quality standards and internal procedures.
* Coordinate inspections and final acceptance.
Budget & Cost Control
* Monitor project costs.
* Control material wastage.
* Track labor and manufacturing expenses.
* Report cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
Risk Management
* Identify project risks.
* Develop mitigation plans.
* Address delays related to materials, production, or customer changes.
Documentation
* Maintain:
* Project schedules
* Progress reports
* Material tracking
* Inspection records
* Final project closure documents
Delivery Management
* Coordinate packaging and dispatch.
* Ensure on-time delivery.
* Support installation or commissioning if applicable.

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
* Project Management certification (preferred).
* 5–10 years of experience in fabrication, welding, or heavy engineering industries.
* Experience managing manufacturing projects is preferred.
