Position
Manufacturing Unit Manager
Location- Pune Saswad Road, Uruli Devachi, Pune, Maharashtra 412308.
Salary
₹40,000 – ₹70,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Unit Manager to oversee the complete operations of our paint manufacturing unit. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring smooth plant operations, maintaining quality standards, supervising staff, and reporting directly to the Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the paint manufacturing unit.
- Plan, supervise, and monitor daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain product quality and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Supervise and coordinate production staff and factory personnel.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials, finished goods, and consumables.
- Ensure proper maintenance and efficient utilization of machinery and equipment.
- Implement and enforce workplace safety and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with procurement, stores, quality control, and dispatch teams.
- Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
- Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to the Director.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, environmental, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing operations is required.
- Prior work experience in the paint manufacturing industry will be preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and team management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple operational responsibilities effectively.
