We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Area Manager to lead and manage multiple water treatment and wastewater treatment plant operations across the Eastern region. Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants across multiple customer sites.
- Ensure optimal plant performance, uptime, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance planning and execution.
- Monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to site teams.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular reviews and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, ISO requirements, and industry best practices.
- Manage inventory, spare parts planning, and shutdown activities.
- Prepare operational reports and performance documentation.
- Support business growth through customer acquisition, site surveys, proposal preparation, and tender participation.
- Drive invoice submissions and payment collections for assigned accounts.
Qualification
Education:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
- OR M.Sc./B.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, or Microbiology
Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of water treatment and wastewater treatment processes.
- Experience in RO, DM, UF, ETP, STP, WTP, and utility systems.
- Expertise in plant operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Understanding of safety management systems, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and teams effectively.
