There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary:
As a Performance Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for diagnosing complex issues that the in-house performance testing team has been unable to resolve. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to analyze performance metrics, validate application performance, and contribute to capacity planning efforts. You will also focus on problem detection and resolution, ensuring that applications meet performance standards throughout the software development lifecycle. Your role will require a keen understanding of performance testing methodologies and the ability to provide actionable insights to enhance application performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
- Strong understanding of performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience with capacity planning and application performance management.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve performance-related issues effectively.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and architecture.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
