We are looking for a detail-oriented Payment Posting Executive with experience in
healthcare RCM to accurately post insurance and patient payments, reconcile
accounts, identify denials/underpayments, and ensure timely revenue processing.
The candidate should have good knowledge of EOBs, ERA processing, insurance
guidelines, and payment reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
- Post insurance payments, patient payments, and adjustments accurately into billing software. (ECW)
- Review and interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advice).
- Reconcile daily deposits and payment batches.
- Identify denials, short payments, and zero payments for further action.
- Process contractual adjustments, write-offs, refunds, and recoupments.
- Ensure TAT and productivity targets are achieved.
- Coordinate with AR and billing teams for unresolved claims/payment issues.
- Maintain accuracy and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Analyze trends in denials and payment variances.
- Handle secondary claims and crossover claims when applicable.
- Work on aging reports and payment discrepancy reports.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of US Healthcare RCM processes.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes preferred.
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and email handling skills.
- Ability to work in spreadsheets and billing tools.

Experience
3-5 years in Healthcare Payment Posting / Medical Billing.
Experience in Gastroenterology specialty preferred.
