About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to handle day-to-day accounting activities for multiple restaurant outlets. The candidate should have practical knowledge of GST, TDS, challans, reconciliations, and Zoho Books, with the ability to independently manage accounting activities across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities for multiple outlets.
- Maintain sales, purchase, expense, receipt, and payment entries.
- Work on Zoho Books for accounting and financial record management.
- Prepare and maintain GST workings and assist with GST return filing.
- Handle TDS workings, deductions, reconciliations, and challans.
- Prepare and process GST and TDS challans and ensure timely payments.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor outlet-wise sales, purchases, expenses, and outstanding payments.
- Verify invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with outlet teams for accounting entries, expenses, petty cash, and documentation.
- Identify discrepancies in outlet accounts and ensure timely rectification.
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents for audits.
- Assist with month-end closing and preparation of accounting reports/MIS.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams regarding invoices and payment-related queries.
- Ensure accounting activities are completed accurately and within timelines.
Required Skills
- Good practical knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Knowledge of GST/TDS workings and challan preparation/payment.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books is mandatory.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Experience handling multiple outlets/branches will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple outlets and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in B.Com, M.Com, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Candidates with relevant practical experience in hospitality, restaurants, retail, or other multi-location businesses will be preferred.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be someone who can independently manage routine accounting activities for multiple outlets, has strong practical knowledge of GST & TDS, and is comfortable working extensively on Zoho Books.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
