CAD Automation Engineer – Creo Toolkit

Job Summary
We are looking for a CAD Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in PTC Creo, Creo Toolkit, C/C++ and CAD automation. The candidate will be responsible for developing custom CAD applications, automating engineering workflows, and improving design and drawing productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom CAD applications using PTC Creo Toolkit and C/C++.
- Automate Creo part modeling, assemblies, drawings, and repetitive design activities.
- Develop Creo menus, dialogs, macros, and user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain Creo API/Toolkit-based automation solutions.
- Integrate Creo with Windchill, PLM/PDM, databases, and other engineering tools.
- Automate CAD data extraction, BOM generation, and engineering workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Creo Toolkit and CAD automation issues.
- Perform application debugging, testing, maintenance, and code reviews.
- Work closely with mechanical design and engineering teams to understand requirements and develop reusable automation solutions.
Required Skills
- 3–6 years of experience in CAD automation, Creo customization, or Creo Toolkit development.
- Strong hands-on experience with PTC Creo / Creo Parametric.
- Experience with Creo Toolkit / Creo API.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Experience with Creo part modeling, assemblies, drawings, family tables, and configurations.
- Good understanding of CAD customization and engineering design workflows.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Creo Object Toolkit (OTK).
- Knowledge of Java, Python, C#, or VB.NET.
- Experience with Windchill, PLM/PDM.
- Knowledge of BOM extraction, CAD data extraction, and CAD data migration.
- Understanding of GD&T and manufacturing drawings.
- Automotive product development experience.
- Knowledge of Git/version control, software testing, and Agile methodologies.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
