Neil Patel Digital India is looking for a Manager - SEO who will be responsible for managing search engine optimization activities and client relationships for client partners & accounts, with a focus on improving organic visibility across traditional search engines as well as emerging answer-based and AI-driven search platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for SEO-related communication with clients
- Understand client business objectives and translate them into effective SEO strategies
- Lead client calls, presentations and performance review meetings
- Manage timelines, deliverables and client expectations
- Resolve client issues and ensure high-quality service delivery
- Support account retention and long-term business growth
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve keyword rankings, organic trafficand conversions
- Manage optimisation for traditional search engines as well as answer-based and AI- driven search results
- Perform keyword research, search intent analysis and competitor benchmarking
- Define content and optimisation plans aligned with business goals
- Conduct technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, site structure, mobile friendliness and page speed
- Work closely with development teams to implement SEO recommendations
- Ensure best practices for website architecture and performance
- Manage structured data and schema implementation
- Optimize website pages, landing pages and blog content for target keywords and user intent
- Guide content teams on question-based, structured and entity-focused content formats
- Ensure content is aligned with search engine guidelines and user needs
- Manage link building and outreach activities
- Improve brand authority and citations for better performance in emerging AI and generative search platforms
- Ensure ethical and compliant SEO practices
- Track SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO tools
- Prepare and present periodic SEO reports to clients and internal stakeholders
- Identify growth opportunities based on data and search trends
- Lead and mentor SEO executives and managers
- Review team output and ensure quality standards
- Conduct training sessions and performance reviews
Desired Profile:
- 5 - 7 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing
- Proven experience in managing client accounts
- Understanding of answer-based and AI-driven search results
- Experience with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe / Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Fair knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience in a digital marketing agency and handling large or enterprise businesswill be an advantage
- Exposure to international SEO and ability to work in a performance-driven environment preferred.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
