Budget: ₹1.6 Lakh/Month + GST (Negotiable for the right profile)
Role Summary
Own the enablement, governance, and scaling of Microsoft Copilot across the enterprise - agents, plugins, connectors, and advanced extensibility - so that high-value capabilities are adopted securely, compliantly, and cost-effectively. The role curates and prioritizes what gets rolled out, drives capabilities through end-to-end approvals, and enforces the guardrails and lifecycle controls that keep Copilot trustworthy at scale. It requires balancing innovation velocity with risk management and operational rigor.
Key Responsibilities
Capability Prioritization & Enablement
- Curate, prioritize, and roll out Copilot agents, connectors, and extensibility features based on business value and roadmap fit.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog and release pipeline of capabilities, balancing demand from the business against enterprise readiness.
- Support enablement campaigns, documentation, and training so users adopt capabilities in the intended, governed way.
Governance & Approvals
- Lead end-to-end approval processes with Security, Legal, Privacy, and Architecture, ensuring every capability meets enterprise compliance and risk standards before release.
- Own the intake-to-approval workflow - capability assessment, risk review, sign-off, and exception handling.
- Maintain the audit trail and documentation that demonstrates compliance for internal and external review.
Platform Governance & Controls
- Define and enforce guardrails for connectors, plugins, data access, and agent lifecycle management - design, release, monitoring, and retirement.
- Manage the full agent lifecycle, including retirement and decommissioning of capabilities that are obsolete, redundant, or non-compliant.
Extensibility & Integration
- Oversee the integration of internal and external systems - APIs, connectors, and third-party agents - within a governed framework.
- Set the patterns and approval criteria for safely extending Copilot with enterprise and external data sources.
- Partner with security and architecture teams to ensure integrations are secure, supportable, and aligned to standards.
Monitoring, Reporting & FinOps
- Establish usage analytics, performance monitoring, and reporting to track adoption, value realization, and capability health.
- Own cost management - pay-as-you-go (PAYG) controls, budgets, and spend optimization - to maximize value per dollar.
- Use monitoring insights to continuously tune the capability portfolio, retire low-value items, and inform prioritization.
Required Qualifications
- Strong, current familiarity and hands-on experience with M365 Copilot capabilities - e.g., out-of-the-box (OOTB) agents, agent builder, Copilot Cowork, Project Scout, and related extensibility features.
- Proven track record in governance, with demonstrated security/compliance alignment in an enterprise environment.
- Cross-functional leadership experience working across Security, Legal, Privacy, and Architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to balance innovation velocity with risk management and operational rigor.
- Experience with usage analytics, cost/FinOps management, and capability lifecycle management is strongly preferred.
