About the Role
Maa Laxmi Timber Craft is looking for a responsible and organized Office Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the office. The role involves coordinating with customers, suppliers, production teams, and management while ensuring that orders, records, documentation, inventory, and payments are properly tracked.
The ideal candidate should have good computer and Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Office & Operations Management
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day office operations.
- Maintain proper records of customers, suppliers, orders, invoices, and other business documents.
- Coordinate between customers, sales, production, delivery, and management.
- Follow up on customer orders and ensure timely updates on order status.
- Handle routine office communication with customers and suppliers.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital documents.
- Assist management with daily administrative and operational tasks.
Order & Business Coordination
- Record and track new customer orders from booking to delivery.
- Maintain order details including product specifications, quantities, measurements, pricing, delivery dates, and payment status.
- Coordinate with the production team regarding pending and upcoming orders.
- Follow up on pending customer payments and deliveries.
- Maintain records of quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
Basic Data & Excel Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily business data using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Prepare basic reports related to sales, orders, inventory, purchases, payments, and pending work.
- Use basic Excel functions, sorting, filtering, and data organization.
- Check data for errors and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
- Provide management with basic summaries and reports whenever required.
Inventory & Purchase Coordination
- Maintain basic records of raw materials, finished products, and inventory.
- Track material requirements and coordinate with suppliers for purchases.
- Maintain purchase and supplier records.
- Highlight low-stock items and upcoming material requirements to management.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; relevant experience will also be considered.
- 1–3 years of experience in office administration, operations, coordination, or a similar role is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Basic understanding of data entry, record keeping, and reporting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and follow up effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable using computers and basic office software.
- Ability to work responsibly and independently.
Preferred
- Previous experience in timber, doors, furniture, construction, manufacturing, or building-material businesses will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with billing, inventory management, quotations, invoices, or order management is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Excel functions such as SUM, IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, sorting, filtering, and Pivot Tables is desirable.

Salary
₹13,000–₹15,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
