Job Title: Data Engineer (SAS Developer)

- Design, develop, and maintain robust SAS programs for enterprise data processing and reporting.
- Develop and support SAS ETL workflows for extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple source systems.
- Build scalable and efficient data integration pipelines to support banking and financial reporting requirements.
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and loading activities.
- Analyze business requirements and convert them into efficient SAS solutions.
- Process large-scale banking, customer, transaction, and risk datasets with high accuracy.
- Develop reusable SAS macros and automation scripts to improve development efficiency.
- Optimize SAS programs and ETL jobs for improved performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
- Perform code optimization and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in large-volume data processing.
- Ensure data quality through comprehensive validation, reconciliation, and exception handling.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Support end-to-end testing activities including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Integration Acceptance Testing (IAT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Participate in defect analysis, debugging, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Manage source code using Git or Bitbucket and follow branch management, pull request, and code review processes.
- Participate in CI/CD and DevOps-based deployment processes.
- Support production deployments, post-deployment validation, and production issue resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation, ETL specifications, data mapping documents, and operational support guides.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
- Continuously evaluate new technologies, modern data platforms, and AI-assisted developer tools to improve productivity and solution quality.
