Job Summary
The GeM Portal Executive is responsible for managing all activities related to the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, including product listing, bid participation, order processing, customer communication, and compliance with GeM guidelines. The role ensures timely execution of government procurement orders and smooth coordination with internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company's seller account on the GeM Portal.
- Create, update, and maintain product/service listings.
- Search for and participate in GeM bids, reverse auctions, and tenders.
- Prepare and upload quotations, technical documents, and commercial bids.
- Process purchase orders received through the GeM portal.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Dispatch, and Accounts teams for timely order execution.
- Track order status, deliveries, invoices, and payments.
- Maintain compliance with GeM policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Respond to buyer queries, clarifications, and complaints through the portal.
- Monitor bid opportunities and submit proposals before deadlines.
- Prepare MIS reports on bids, orders, sales, and pending payments.
- Maintain records of all GeM transactions and correspondence.
- Liaise with government departments and internal stakeholders for smooth execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or any relevant discipline.
- Diploma holders with relevant GeM experience may also apply.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Portal.
- Knowledge of government procurement procedures.
- Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to prepare quotations and tender documents.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Experience
- Freshers: Can be considered if they have good computer skills and are willing to learn GeM operations.
- Experienced: 1–3 years of GeM Portal/Tender Management experience is preferred.

Salary
- As per company standards and candidate experience.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
