About the Role
Knowledge Thrive Academy is looking for a passionate Software Development Trainer who can train and mentor students in programming, web development, and software development technologies. The trainer will be responsible for delivering practical, industry-oriented training and helping students build real-world projects to enhance their employability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training sessions on software development concepts and programming languages.
- Teach technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Java, React, Node.js, SQL, and related tools.
- Design and update course materials, assignments, and project-based learning activities.
- Guide students in developing live projects and portfolios.
- Conduct coding assessments, mock interviews, and technical evaluations.
- Provide career guidance and placement support to students.
- Track student progress and maintain training reports.
- Stay updated with the latest software development trends and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in software development, training, or mentoring.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages and web development frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Experience with real-world software projects is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Full Stack Development.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, APIs, and Cloud Platforms.
- Prior teaching or training experience.
- Industry certifications are an added advantage.
