Description:
The candidate will be responsible for doing Robotics simulation study for weld accessibility and Robot Programming in DELMIA.The candidate will work with global CPO/PPIC teams, using DELMIA software to validate MIG, MAG & Manual welding Jigs.You will assess, improve and optimize welding jigs and Robotics program to reduce lead time for design & tool integration to reduce scrap ratio.
Roles & Responsibilities:

to act as communicator with tool design team & PML (Product manufacturing leader)

to understand welding jigs functionality
-
to create Robotics cell using global standard
-
to perform weld accessibility check to identify weld torch interference
-
to create optimized Robotic Path for MIG & MAG Welding
-
to generate OLP and integration with plant facility
-
to work with different types of material handling equipment’s
-
to generate Kinematics to convert as working device
-
Fanuc Robot handling experience
-
to assess, by direct interaction with specialists in charge, consistency of process definition and evaluate conformity to:
-
Faurecia Excellence System,
-
Health, Safety and Environment rules,
-
Equipment guidelines for use,
-
Robotic simulations,
-
Tooling Design constraints,
-
to interact with program team and ME specialists for optimisation

to strongly contributes in Robotics Simulation activities
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
-
Comfortable with CAD system (DELMIA V5/ 3DEXPERIENCE preferable) & fluent in 3D environment
-
Manufacturing Engineering background
-
3 to 4 years of experience in Robotics simulation & OLP in DELMIA V5
-
3 years’ experience in automatic welding process industry
-
Knowledge of different types of Joining methodology preferably MIG & MAG welding process
-
Online Robot teaching and calibration will have added advantage
-
Work experience with PLM system added advantage preferably Enovia
-
Collaborative Engineering mindset
-
Graduated Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineer or equivalent
-
Fluent in English
-
Good abilities in communication and animation
