An Manager – MICE (Sales & Operations) is an Manager responsible for both business development and execution of MICE activities, where MICE stands for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions/Events.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Generate new MICE business from corporate clients, associations, government bodies, and event planners.
Develop relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, and contracts.
Achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Participate in industry networking events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Identify opportunities for conferences, incentive tours, product launches, and corporate events.
2. Operations Management
Oversee end-to-end execution of MICE events.
Coordinate with hotels, airlines, transport providers, venues, vendors, and event partners.
Ensure smooth logistics, accommodation, registration, and event delivery.
Manage event timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Handle contingency planning and problem resolution during events.
3. Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for major clients.
Conduct pre-event planning meetings and post-event reviews.
Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business.
Negotiate rates and service agreements with suppliers.
4. Team Leadership
Lead and mentor sales and operations teams.
Assign responsibilities and monitor performance.
Train team members on MICE products, processes, and customer service standards.
Coordinate between sales, operations, finance, and marketing departments.
5. Financial & Reporting Responsibilities
Prepare annual sales plans and budgets.
Monitor revenue, costs, and event profitability.
Track sales pipeline and conversion ratios.
Submit MIS reports and management presentations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.

Educational Qualification

Typically 3–5 years in MICE, corporate travel, event management, hospitality, destination management, or tourism, with prior experience handling both sales and operational functions.
Pay: ₹70,772.75 - ₹80,412.44 per month
