Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and proactive Manager on Duty (MOD) to oversee the hospital’s daily and nightly operations. The MOD ensures smooth coordination across departments, handles patient-related concerns, supervises staff, and acts as the central point of contact during their shift.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure smooth functioning of hospital operations during assigned shifts (Day/Night).
· Introduce yourself to departmental staff and initiate rounds upon arrival.
· Conduct hospital rounds every 2 hours to monitor patient services, staff performance, and cleanliness.
· Coordinate with all departments, including OPD, IPD, Lab, Pharmacy, OT, Radiology, Housekeeping, Canteen, Security, and Emergency.
· Oversee front office operations such as patient registration, billing, phone handling, and appointment scheduling.
· Supervise non-clinical services including housekeeping, ambulance coordination, and patient diet services.
· Verify availability of doctors, nurses, and essential staff in all key departments.
· Act as the primary contact for emergencies; ensure that emergency protocols are followed.
· Monitor hospital infrastructure, including cleanliness, linen supply, waste disposal, and equipment usage.
· Manage night shift operations such as vehicle and security rounds, and rest arrangements for duty doctors.
· Ensure adherence to hospital policies, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
· Handle emergencies with professionalism and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Candidate Profile:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hospital or healthcare operations.
Skills: Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.
