Responsibilities
- Assessing and evaluating clients' creditworthiness
- Recommending suitable loan products
- Assisting clients through the loan application process
- Verifying and processing loan applications
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of loan products and policies
- Providing excellent customer service and support
- Explaining terms and conditions of loan agreements
- Creating and maintaining accurate loan records
- Collaborating with underwriting and other departments to finalize loans
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial laws and regulations
Personal Loan Specialist Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
- Previous experience in a financial or lending institution
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in financial software and loan processing systems
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in banking and finance
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service or sales
- Basic understanding of loan products and services
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Strong organizational skills
