01The actual work
What will you actually do as a Political Journalist at CryptoMize?
01
Own the political-coverage layer of live client engagements end-to-end — from event tracking through to the political-news piece that reaches the client deck
02
Set and enforce source-discipline standards across all political coverage — primary-source verification, attribution-chain consistency, off-record-literacy practice — every claim shippable on demand
03
Design the coverage architecture for new political engagements — event calendar, stakeholder-interview plan, attribution-verification protocol — with the strategist before the cycle begins
04
Deliver the recurring political-coverage products: weekly news digests, attribution-verified briefings, governance-track explainers, and quarter-scale political-news narratives
05
For Political Journalist interns, the capstone portfolio review is the conversion pipeline — your shipped work is the hiring evidence
06
Sit in client briefings as the political-coverage authority — when a political client asks "is this story accurate," you answer, with the primary source to prove it
07
Carry institutional responsibility for the source-discipline and attribution culture of the cell — defending rigorous verification over plausible narrative, even when the slicker story would land faster with the client
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Political Journalist at CryptoMize you will own the political-coverage layer on live client engagements — drawing on parliamentary records, election-commission data, party manifestos, structured stakeholder interviews, and attribution-verified primary sources to produce the political-news pieces that feed strategist and client decisions. The role applies rigorous source-discipline before any piece reaches a desk, because an unattributed claim is the difference between journalism and press release.
Quality assurance is a standing duty rather than an occasional task: most organizations discover coverage errors when a client decision has already gone wrong, but here journalists intercept them upstream — in the source-verification review, the attribution-chain audit, and the cross-examination of every claim before publication. You will maintain the audit trail that lets any political piece we publish be reconstructed line by line, on demand, in front of a client.
Journalists here also carry institutional responsibility for the intern program: supervising scoped intern coverage, reviewing their political pieces, and feeding intern conversion decisions. The journalists who teach well are the ones we promote first, because the arm grows only as fast as its teaching culture.
