About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT & Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, managing network devices, and ensuring the smooth operation of the CCTV surveillance system across the facility. This role is essential to maintaining a secure and reliable technology environment within our diamond manufacturing and trading operations.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Network
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Provide technical support to employees for day-to-day IT issues.
CCTV Surveillance
- Monitor and maintain CCTV surveillance systems and recording devices.
- Ensure all cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and storage systems are functioning properly.
- Diagnose and resolve CCTV hardware and connectivity issues.
- Retrieve and archive surveillance footage when authorized.
- Coordinate with vendors for CCTV installation, maintenance, and repairs.
- Ensure surveillance systems comply with company security policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- 2 –3 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or CCTV system management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Experience in a manufacturing, jewelry, or diamond industry environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of biometric access control systems is an added advantage.
